Brenda Tostenson:

Brenda started working on boats at Fisherman’s terminal in Seattle. Then she moved on to the Alaskan fisheries in the Aleutians & Bristol Bay. Upon moving to SF, she started racing with the “SF Bay 30 Fleet” on the family J-30 and cruising & living on a 36’ trawler in Sausalito. After working for a couple of small marine start ups doing in-house sales of container lashing gear and marine electronics work, Brenda worked for 7 years in a competing boatyard.

Currently Brenda races with her family on a Wylie Wabbit & cruises the bay on their small powerboat. She is a member of Tiburon Yacht Club, Richmond Yacht Club and actively involved in the Encinal Yacht Club junior program.
