Welcome to Bay Marine Boatworks
We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and promise to do the very best job possible. To make your visit to Bay Marine Boatworks as smooth as possible, please read and adhere to the following policies (printable version available here):
-
An owner or their agent must sign a work order
before work will begin on a vessel. An agent,
whether independent, brokerage firm, dealership,
or contractor who signs on behalf of an owner
will be the responsible party along with the
owner when the bill comes due.
-
All customers are on a ‘cash before you splash’ basis. Your bill must be paid in full before your boat will be launched, so please plan ahead. We accept credit card payments by phone if you cannot be here in person.
-
Layday charges include every day that Bay Marine Boatworks' employees do not work on your boat for at least 3 hours, or subsequent to any delay of Bay Marine Boatworks work as a result of the actions of an owner and/or their agent.
-
PARKING IN THE YARD IS FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING ONLY. Please do not park your vehicle between boats or inside the white lines in the yard after 7:30 a.m. on weekdays. Our travelift needs a clear lane so that we can keep our haul and launch schedule on track. Fire code also regulates ‘free passage’. All parking will be in designated spaces only and is on a first-come first-served basis. Others may be towed or moved with the forklift. Bay Marine Boatworks is not responsible for any overspray or damage to your vehicle while on our premises.
-
Bay Marine Boatworks is not responsible for loss or damage to vessel or articles left in or attached to vessel as a result of fire, theft, accident, vandalism, spray painting, and acts of God; nor for liability to owners, guests, etc. whether working or visiting the yard premises.
